Lucy uses She/They pronouns, and is based in Northampton
Short Bio:
Lucy Saxon is a British writer who spent several years living in Northwest Arkansas; she finds any excuse to include horses in her work, and loves to build rich fantasy worlds in which to house those horses. Developing a passion for writing after a lifechanging chronic illness diagnosis, they are keen to explore storytelling in both prose and graphic novel format.
Long Bio:
Lucy Saxon has always had her head in a fictional world, reading veraciously from day one. Growing up, they spent more time in the saddle than with two feet on the ground, spending any free time they could around horses. That changed when they were diagnosed with ME/CFS at the age of twelve, after a lengthy period of illness.
From then on, her life was far less active, and she became more interested in delving into fictional worlds - this led first to the world of Fanfiction, then eventually to NaNoWriMo, which led to their debut novel, Take Back The Skies, published at the age of nineteen.
Lucy then wrote two more books in the Tellus series, before deciding to become a cowboy on a ranch in Arkansas, taking advantage of a period of better health to reconnect with her love of horses. Several years later, they call England home once more, and have a whole host of ideas to bring to life.
