L.A. Jasper is a British writer who grew up with their nose in a book and their heart in the saddle; she turned to writing after a diagnosis of ME/CFS at the age of twelve left her largely bedbound for several years. Cutting her teeth in the realm of fanfiction quickly led to two things - a desire to write original stories; and a discovery of the joy of cosplay.

Spending several years in their early twenties working on a ranch in Northwest Arkansas, L.A. began to rediscover a love of sports and the outdoors that had been largely lost to disability in their teens. Coming back to the UK to focus on her writing, she fell in love with love stories, and the many ways to express them, particularly in the realm of sports romance. As a queer writer, they like to explore the intersection of attitudes towards queerness in sports.

When not writing, L.A. can be found cheering on the Seattle Kraken; collecting far too many hobbies (with varying levels of aptitude); petting every dog they can find; and riding horses to avoid their responsibilities.
